Welcome to the space where you can escape reality and read about random stuff which I promise you won't regret later. Happily sharing the experiences on my first-ever blog :)

Well, technically this is my first ever blog post, and starting a personal blog in my name has been on my to-do bucket list in my notion for a couple of years. Finally feeling a frenzy to start this after huge hurdles.

Why am I starting this?

To open up, I am very terrible at English and I fumble every time to start a conversation in English and I don't feel ashamed to express this. Hopefully, that's getting better.

I hope and I felt that writing blogs would make me a better communicator. There is no particular goal in starting up this blog - I don't have any plans on monetizing this (perhaps currently no plans 😛). Well, I just love the process of designing my website and blogging random stuff. In fact, I am not even worried about the view count or the traffic on my site.

Additionally, I am a super introvert. I never wanted to socialize and even though I am compelled on days to socialize (for instance at weddings, parties, and get-togethers) I would like to have "MeTime" at the end of the day, in my own space. So basically, I wanted to break this introverted me.

Moreover, I feel blogging and ranting about random stuff helps me to document things that I do in my life, places I visit, food that I eat, and indiscriminate thoughts that I get when I take bath.

And to cap all of the selfish and personal reasons that compelled me to start a blog, meanwhile, a couple of people on the internet influenced me to start his blogging activity. To name a few - Ali Abdaal, Jeff Su, Ankur Warikoo. Well, I am not an influencer, but I am gonna encourage everyone in my circle and people who are reading this - START A BLOG.

Besides, my blog and the stuff I write can act as an online CV which will help recruiters understand my personal perspective and views on a particular item. And having a presence on the internet is the modern age of networking.

Seemingly, blogging can help bring people with the same thoughts into the same boat. I effectively feel it's a

  • Birth of subjective thoughts and ideas.

  • A new perspective on an idea - Might be religion, caste, politics, sex, equity market, investment, food, travel, etc.

  • Collection of notions.

  • Networking of people who resonate with the same viewpoints.

And I am gonna definitely write a separate blog on how did I start all of these and that might act as a thesaurus to people who got inspired by this post :D

So here is the challenge - I am planning to write at the rate of 1 blog/week which comes to around ~52 per year and would be very glad if this count increases gradually. #Touchwood

I want to continue playing the game, I don’t want to try to win the game.
