Radiating on how did I get into stock market investing and understanding the ABCs of the market.

Well, by way of introduction, I am a mediocre middle-class guy straight away from an Indian middle-class family where there is speculation that FDs and RDs are the only way of accumulating wealth. As I started earning, even my middle-class parents asked me to save and deposit in an RD. Well, I did the same and regretted it quickly and understood why they were actually bad. In the meantime, I was actively looking for options on how can I build my wealth because I was very keen that even my generation shouldn't be unaware of the accumulation of wealth. That's when I started my equity market investing.
How did I develop?
To be honest, I had no clue about the stock market, ETFs, Mutual funds, etc. I never did CA nor I was from a finance background. I was also heavily influenced by my acquaintances that the stock market is a wild playground and one might lose all of his/her money. Yes, it is a wild playground, if not played correctly. In fact, the typical FDs and RDs are the ones that can drain all of your money.
So, how did I make all of this? Because I invested in myself and time and made strict research on the stock market. Self-research is the best way of self-realization.
Additionally, I got fascinated by Kunal Shah's (founder of CRED and Freecharge) ideology on how to learn things effectively. He states that if you want to learn something, start googling a single jargon and explore that for one hour per day. You will get a new jargon that day. Then next day probe into that new jargon for one hour. So at the end of a month, you will be familiar with 30 new jargon.
For instance, if you want to get into the stock market, start googling 'what is a share?' for one hour. You will get introduced to a new word - equities and commodities. Hold it and the next day explore what are equities and commodities. Over a period of time, you will become an expert in the stock market and you can deliver a one-day lecture on how to invest. In fact, that's how I learned stock market investing.
