Unravelling my super amazing travel plans that I wish to accomplish before I burn out.

ree

Most people have crazy cravings for devices, gadgets, food, clothes, etc. Well, I too have them, but I don't give a second thought when it comes to travel. That's how crazy I am about travelling. Travel gives me this immense orgasm that nothing else can.

I have made it my sole mission in life to travel to a new place every year, either on a solo trip or with my gang. But thanks to Covid spoiling my travel plans for almost 2 years, I have decided to make as many trips in 2022 to compensate for the time lost 😛

It's been 5 months already into 2022 and I have successfully completed 5 trips translating to 1 trip per month. But guess what? These trips were super random and I didn't have any schedule for them.

However, there is a list of places that I wanna visit. This might sound weird, but I have a separate page in my notion (kind of bucket list but not really) with a list of places that I need to visit before I die.

I strongly believe that each place has a story to tell.

Sit back, relax and here we go,

Visit Bali

Well, there is a huge craze over the Maldives, but personally, to me, Maldives doesn't attract me a lot. (IDK why). But there is one island with its inescapable sense of serenity and calmness, down south of Indonesia - The Bali Islands. Bali is one of the most famous islands in Indonesia covered with its sheer natural beauty of hot boiling lava in the volcanos, exciting flora and fauna and hold on, with an amazing variety of coral reefs. I hope to get a chance to dive or at least try snorkelling on the Blue Lagoon. The water is so teal and turquoise that you can see amazing coral reefs.

The Route 66

I love driving cars, period. Driving on empty roads with the top gear and listening to your favourite playlist is a whole level vibe. "Route 66" is one of a kind. Basically, route 66 connects Chicago and Los Angels. Although, there are rumours that the route is banned for driving but I hope one day the road opens up for travellers.

ree

The road is so eccentric that only real car-driving fanatics can understand the pull of it. Imagine driving on such a road with "Cigarettes After Sex" or the "Blue Highway" playing on the radio, with a drink beside you. This is what a real vacation feels like 😍

The Eyre Highway

Another drive that I wanted to make before I die is definitely the Eyre Highway. So this road basically runs from Western Australia to Southern Australia. But what is special about this highway? It is the longest straight road. Not the longest road. Just the longest straight road.

That means, there are no curves or bends on this highway. The highway is also famous for being boring and monotonous and most drivers tend to fall asleep leading to a high risk of safety.

If this is so boring, why do I want to drive on this? Well, driving on these roads will give you the most sought-after old Hollywood vibe. And is it even fun, if you don't risk your safety?

Jump from the Kawasan falls

One super cool adventure that I would like to do is jump from the Kawasan Falls in the Philippines. I would definitely do the canyoneering and cliff jumping at Kawasan. The most famous part of the experience is its turquoise water and 4 hours of intense trekking is needed to reach the falls. But when you finally reach the top, trust me, you will feel heaven.

ree

But this is where the fun part is - the cliff jumping. You can jump from various peaks according to your risk appetite. And the maximum you can jump (and live) from is 100 feet and you will literally feel the air hitting you while jumping.

The Northern Lights

The nights are always special. PERIOD. The northern lights are such an amazing phenomenon that occurs during the night. So basically, you can view the northern lights from most of the northern countries of the European region such as Norway, Finland, Sweden and Iceland. But I always wanted to view this aurora from either Norway or Iceland due to the sheer vastness of the sky.

ree

Essentially, the night skies turn into these greenish hulks due to some chemical reactions also known as Aurora, aka the polar lights. This is a natural light display in Earth's sky, predominantly seen in high-latitude regions.

A few more...

Apart from these, a few of them from my notion are - I need to visit Joseph's bar in Panaji, then scuba in Thailand (have dived in Pondy already but wanted to try in Thai), visit the Auver-sur-Oise in France - the place where Van Gogh spent his last days and finally jump off from the sky - the sky diving, probably in Dubai or at famous Hawaii. I also need to visit Mawlynnong - the cleanest city in Asia

As of now, this list ends here. But I have a lot of them still which I would probably share in another blog. Until then stay tuned and comment on your favourite place or which you had been waiting to travel to so that I can add them to my travel list.

And here is a short glimpse of my love interests

ree

How did I get to know all of these places? I follow a lot of travel bloggers and travel content creators. A few of them are - Lili's Travel Plans, Peppy Travel Girl a.k.a Preethi, Tanya, Aakanksha, Archana, Monkey Inc, and my personal favourite Roonie & Barty. The most exciting part is most of them that I have mentioned are WOMEN SOLO TRAVELERS.
