Sharing experiences on my first-ever solo trip and the first trip of the year 2022!

Being on a sabbatical period, I was stressed out by laziness and decided to make a 2-day trip to the 'Paris of the East' - Pondicherry. I took my dad's car, fueled it up, and drove on one of the aesthetic roads of India - the East Coast Road (ECR). Making my first stop at Muttukadu to view the sunrise, I decided to make some good capture of the scenic beauty with my Canon SLR.

Right after that, I drove all the way for about 2 hours and visited this picturesque temple near Pondy - the Pyramid temple. Not a big fan of spirituality, but I came to know from one of the locals that this temple was built in such a way to attract all the cosmic energy. Sounds interesting, isn't it?

Later then I reached Pondy and parked my car on one of the Rues and decided to take a walk across the French colony. Omg! The doors in pondy are a vibe.
Post then, I checked in. I had reserved a dorm (Micasa Hostels) since dorms are pretty cheap for a one-night stay and for backpackers like me. I had my lunch in a cosy café - The Coromandel Café and I was writing some stuff for my blog. What a beautiful place to chill and work!
On day 2, I booked an adventure that has been on my bucket list since my childhood. I did Scuba Diving and it was indeed a surreal experience. Trust me, the scuba diving made my blood run cold. Literally. Check out my experience here.
How to leave Pondy without visiting any French bakery? So later, I bought some croissants and baguettes for my home from the Auroville Bakery and reached home before any curfew.
Travelling with a group would be fun definitely but hands down - there are subtle nuances that you can enjoy when you travel alone.
You can design your own itinerary according to your budget. You can finish the entire trip as cheaply as you could.
You need not wait for anyone. There is 0 chance that the trip getting cancelled because a friend couldn't make the trip.
You can feel the true solitariness. That's totally a different zone of enjoyment.
